I must say, I’m impressed with these products!
A short time ago, I received a message from Gould and Goodrich, Inc (https://gouldusa-shop.com/) asking if I would review their latest addition to their Honor Guard Kit for law enforcement. I said “yes” and received the products in the image at the top of the page in the mail.
Since 1985, Gould & Goodrich (G&G) has delivered unmatched quality in every hand-crafted holster, belt, and accessory they create in Lillington, NC. Read more here: https://gouldusa-shop.com/pages/about-us.
The Belt

The waist sizes range from 28 to 58 (the one sent to me is a 36). This Sam Browne belt comes in black leather, basket weave, and the new high-gloss version. The inside of the belt is black, which I prefer, with a light suede feel to it. The belt I bought years ago for the photos in my Honor Guard Manual has a smooth light tan finish on the inside and can easily slide. The buckle comes in brass or nickel colors.
They also offer a 4-row stitched version in black leather and high gloss (https://gouldusa-shop.com/collections/honor-guard-kit/products/lined-duty-belt-4-row-stitched).
The Shoulder Strap and Sliding D-rings

The shoulder strap comes in sizes ranging from 30 to 60 and there is a measurement guide on the shoulder strap page (https://gouldusa-shop.com/collections/honor-guard-kit/products/shoulder-strap). The strap and D-rings also come in black leather, basket weave, and high-gloss versions.
My Sam Browne belt has sewn-in D-rings. These movable D-rings might be a better option for you since you could easily wear the strap over each shoulder, depending on which draw you use.
The Holster

Comes in black leather, basket weave, and high-gloss versions. Your choice of draw. This holster is solid! There is a weatherproof polymer brace that the belt slides though and about a half-inch gap between it and the holster itself.
When I teach law enforcement units, we always discuss emergency drawing of each other’s weapon. Since the ceremonial belt is worn above the uniform belt level, drawing your own weapon is a challenge and that’s why LEOs will practice drawing their teammate’s sidearm. This holster works so much better than the one I own since mins has the more old fashioned flap.

This G&G holster has a clean look and a feel of strength.

G&G offers a colors harness in black leather and high gloss. The strap system is my favorite and the only one a recommend (one attachment at the top of the socket frame), but the harness socket isn’t my favorite. I will have to get an up-close look and report back.
Overall
I truly appreciate G&G using real leather and not making everything out of plastic. The quality is simply outstanding, and you cannot go wrong with G&G.
