Biography:
Jasmine is originally from Tennessee but has been living in Colorado since 2000.
She is a EMT-IV for American Medical Response – Colorado Springs and for Black Forest Fire Rescue. She is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist for CommonSpirit Saint Francis. She has been an EMT-IV since 2016 and a Registered Respiratory Therapist since 2021.
She has been a member of the American Medical Response Honor Guard since 2016, their Quartermaster since 2018, and then joined the Black Forest Fire Honor Guard in 2022.
Jasmine’s passion for honor guard work began after her first attendance to the National EMS Memorial Service in 2017. This experience has since driven her to pursue involvement with the Denver Broncos, Colorado Springs Switchbacks, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arlington National Cemetery, and the Society of the Honor Guard – Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Her goal with acquiring further knowledge under the DrillMaster curriculum is to encourage other EMS, LEO, and FD honor guards to aim for military honor guard standards. She hopes to unite and inspire this high standard amongst all other First Responder honor guards.
