Pallbearers carry the flag-draped casket of Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) Richard C. Sather during his funeral at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Although he was one of of the first American pilots killed in North Vietnam in 1964, Sather's body wasn't returned home until August 1985. His remains were among 26 bodies of servicemen returned to the United States in August 1985 for burial.
