LINDEN HIGH SCHOOL NJROTC PLACES FIRST IN DRILL COMPETITION

The Linden High School NJROTC competed in the Rancocas Valley Regional High School’s drill competition on Saturday taking overall first place with wins in the following categories: New cadet Color guard 2nd Place lead by Cadet Seaman Melisa Melendez and Cadet Seaman Shanice Burgos competing as the leader of the new cadet squad for the first time, captured 3rd place with her squad.  In the Varsity division, Armed Drill was commanded by Cadet JG Steven Ortmann, the school took home 1st place, while Cadet Chief Evelyn Serrano lead the Unarmed team to a 2nd place victory.
